As of 2009, you can also look into the Sandisk Ultra II SDHC 4GB card if your device supports it (please check first). and you need more space. Of course, this wouldn't help if the netbook were lost or stolen, but I'm hoping I don't have to worry about that. Instead of carrying around an external hard drive, or usb flash drive, this item does not stick out from the netbook. As of July 2009, it still works and has done so without a hitch. This item was below average in price when I purchased it last summer in 2008. I keep it in a eee 1000HA netbook and use it as backup for documents and homework. Good value purchase.
Not only did I effectively double the amount of pictures I can hold, but I also increased the recording speed; this SD card is pretty fast. This 2GB SD card was purchased as an upgrade to my old 1GB PNY SD card in my digital camera. I'm using it with a 5MP Panasonic camera, so your experience may vary, but I found it quite adequate for my needs.
End of story. You need a 2 gig memory card. Very nice. Works very well, nothing really to worry about. Here it is.
It arrived quickly, and after testing, I verified it is fast enough for movies and it really does hold 2 GB.Great product.
